Freelance Editor

Salary: Market rates

A busy global marketing communications department at SAP (located in Singapore) is looking for freelance editors to help with the production of content (brochures, success stories, white papers, Web Content etc.)

Qualifications include:

* Minimum 3-5 years marketing editing experience -- in English (U.S.)
* Experience in a corporate communications department, an agency supporting Fortune 500 companies or an organization with a highly structured MarCom department
* Exceptional organizational and communications skills
* Ability to understand corporate branding standards to maintain quality and consistency in all marketing materials
* Ability to work with writers and analyze copy for grammar, clarity, structure and style
* Able to review brochure templates/designs to identify text, branding and formatting errors
* Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate project status to all parties concerned
* Proficient in English (speak, read, and write)
* Proficient in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat
* Skilled editing in a variety of styles and for diverse audiences including Web content
* Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work well on teams
* Working knowledge of graphic design
* An undergraduate degree in English, Communications, or Journalism a plus
* Can provide samples of your work and references
