Job Summary
To commission a range of articles, features and series for on-line products and to contribute to developing new on-line products. To manage the commissioning process and content provision from conception to delivery including on-going author care.
Major/Key Activities
* To research and commission original and exclusive materials as identified.
* To develop a range of commissioned materials to add value to existing services.
* To supervise commissioned projects from initial brief to publication.
* To co-ordinate individual manuscripts and authors.
* To liaise with other Complinet staff to ensure appropriate opportunities are identified.
* To keep up-to-date with legal/regulatory developments across a range of subjects.
* To develop new relationships with credible and respected potential contributors in the relevant region.
* To liaise with and develop the Editorial Board of external experts for the region, in order to help drive the editorial agenda.
Essential Skills/Knowledge
· At least two years' commissioning and publishing experience in financial services and related legal fields.
· Proven track record of delivering high-quality materials from external resources on time.
· Ability to interact with professionals at the highest level in a variety of regulatory areas.
· Highly organised and disciplined and able to act on own initiative.
Key Performance Measures
· To hit commissioning targets as set by Head of Publishing.
· Provision of high quality market-driven features and analysis.
