China Labor Watch (CLW) is a New York based not-for-profit organization. Founded in 2000, CLW views Chinese workers’ rights as inalienable human rights and is dedicated to promoting workers’ fair redistribution of wealth under globalization.
We are seeking a highly organized English writer/editor who is interested in Chinese labor issues, to provide writing and editorial support for our publications, news releases and news-letters. The ideal candidate will possess strong editing, writing, organizational and communication skills. Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a plus, but not required.
This is a part-time position. The editor will work for about 15 – 20 hours per week (more hours may be needed in busy time). The time arrangement is flexible. Pay is $12/hour.
A 12-month commitment is required (to Oct 30, 2011).
Current students are accepted, as long as you can promise the time commitment.
