Jakarta Globe is Looking for Copy Editors
A leading, award winning Jakarta based English daily news publication on print and digital platforms is looking for young Copy Editors to work in Jakarta, Indonesia for a rewarding experience in cutting edge international journalism. The job entails rewriting and sharpening stories from non-native speaking reporters. Should be able to turn rough copy into polished English prose on subjects ranging from business to local news, sports and features.

We employ standard American English and our style is based on the New York Times, with numerous local exceptions. Successful candidates will have a good news sense, the ability to write clear and concise headlines and, preferably some specialized knowledge of business terms and concepts. Minimum one to two years experience in an english daily newspaper is a must.
