International Academy for Leadership Replication Seminar in the Philippines.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation’s International Academy for Leadership (IAF) Alumni Group brings to the Philippines the IAF’s popular training workshops held in Europe.
The Alumni Group invites participants from the academe, youth, business, the Commission on Human Rights, local government and NGOs to join its fourth IAF replication seminar in Cebu City from 21-24 November 2010. Entitled “Human Rights I: Civil and Political Rights,” the seminar will explain the concept of liberalism in relation to human rights and provide participants with a working knowledge of basic human rights concepts. It will also provide a venue where important human rights issues in the Philippines can be discussed.
The seminar will feature FNF Alumni and the University of San Carlos College of Law Alumni Association as key speakers.
Please send letters of intents and short CVs to: application@fnst.org. The deadline for submission of applications is on November 5, 2010. The Foundation shall cover seminar-related expenses of accepted participants.
