Proposals are being accepted from companies & individual artists from around the U.S. This event is continues the momentum generated by the National Asian American Theater Conferences & Festivals held in L.A., NYC and Minneapolis since 2006, and marks the very first time that both will be held simultaneously. As L.A. representatives of the CONSORTIUM of ASIAN AMERICAN THEATERS & ARTISTS (CAATA), East West Players & TeAda Productions will co-host this much-anticipated event which expects to lay the groundwork for the next five years for APA arts as a national movement.

CAATA is committed to the goals of establishing an inclusive, responsible, and relevant national artistic voice for the rapidly diversifying Asian Pacific American consortium, and at the Third National Asian American Theater Conference & Festival, CAATA anticipates hosting nearly 200 APA arts leaders, artists and colleagues from around the country—shining a light on the diversity of today's performing art forms, addressing the needs of a rapidly shifting cultural landscape, and supporting a well-rounded representation of artists from different ethnic and gender identifications. Proposals are being accepted right now for Festival productions & Conference breakout sessions—so apply to be a part of APA theatrical history!
