We are looking for 2 experienced translators to work on a localization workshop. The workshop will be in US.
The job involves:
1. translating and editing of website and electronic direct mail contents from English to Taiwan Traditional Chinese
2. quality control / consulting services related to Taiwan Traditional Chinese website or EDM
3. industry: computer/software/hardware (non-technical/ manual)
4. style: urban and young, marketing based
5. duration: 12 days (inclusive of traveling days) in early Oct
We are looking for a translator who:
1. delivers high quality work in high speed
2. is able to maintain good working attitudes, even under the most stressful situation
3. is open to opinion and discussion
4. is easily accessible and to communicate with
5. has the knowledge of working on CAT tools (HeartSome preferably)
6. Must be a Taiwan native, or with strong cultural and background in Taiwan.
7. 2+ years and above of on-the-job translation/ editing experiences
8. magazine writing/ editing experiences is advantage.
