UNESCO Bangkok: Book launch and Dialogues on Universalism, Human Rights, War and Peace, and Climate Change

The Regional Unit in Social and Human Sciences in Asia and the Pacific (RUSHSAP), UNESCO Bangkok has just published three books which explore dialogues between different cultures on important contemporary themes. In the book launch last August 30 in UNESCO Bangkok, distinguished speakers, including present and former ambassadors, professors and UN figures from around the world addressed themes related to Universalism, Human Rights, War and Peace, and Climate Change: How can we move forward in the international community on understandings and intercultural dialogue on these issues? Ample opportunities for dialogue and discussion will be provided. The outcomes will also be reflected in ongoing activities of UNESCO in the Asia-Pacific region, and beyond.
