3 Million Won Korean Essay Contest for Foreigners

The Busan Foundation for International Activities(BFIA) is looking for participants for the Korean Essay Contest for Foreigners which will take place on October 9.

Any foreigner living in Busan can apply, simply by filling out the application form from the notice board on the BFIA webpage at http://www.bfia.or.kr/ and sending it by email or fax or by visiting the BFIA in person.

Applications are accepted from September 13 to 29. This year is the 3rd year that the essay contest is being held. Since last year, it has been hosted by the BFIA and Pusan University of Foreign Studies. The contest categories are prose and poetry.

The 1st prize will win a certificate and 700,000 won, while 2nd prize will win 500,000 won, out of a total prize fund of 3 million won. Further notice regarding the venue of the event will be given later.
