Qassim Haddad is an influential cultural figure in Bahrain who has received the Owais Cultural Foundation Prize for Poetry. Ferial Ghazoul is a professor at the American University in Cairo, which is a vital bridge between East and West, linking Egypt and the region to the world through scholarly research and partnerships with academic institutions.
