News: Rs10 Cr Allocated for Tamil Books

Ministed P. Chidambaram urged the allocation of Rs 10 Crore annually for writing and releasing new Tamil books. This is "to facilitate bringing out good books in Tamil on various topics. Students have claimed there are no Tamil books available in subjects like literature.
