Bloggers Wanted for New Blog Focusing on Asian-American Issues
Looking for bloggers to submit blog posts to a new blog focused on Asian-American issues and minority issues. Blog topics include any issues relating to or affecting Asian-Americans, including: local and national news, indie and mainstream topics, entertainment, business, media, creative industries and careers, etc. Knowledge or experience of the following is a plus: minority issues, gay issues, small town discrimination, Austin events or events in Texas relating to Asian-Americans, activism. Posts can range be anything from irreverent and humorous to political or social rants.

The blog is still new, but over time it will be developed into a larger resource for the Asian-American community in Austin and beyond. At this time, no compensation is available, but it's subject to change once the performance of blog posts is evaluated.

Blogger Requirements:
- Highly opinionated
- Passionate about Asian-American issues
- Avid blog reader, as well as writer

Pluses:
- B.A. in English, Journalism, Communications, Asian-American Studies, Women/Gender Studies, Fine Arts, etc. (or work experience in related fields)
- Professional blogging experience
- Familiarity with Wordpress
- Basic HTML skills
