We are currently accepting submissions for our inaugural short story anthology titled UNDISCOVERED: tales of exploration, adventure & excitement.
Here's what we're looking for:
The theme is pretty self explanatory and is wide open for interpretation. Choose any genre you like, you’ve got a lot of freedom as long as you can fit it into “Undiscovered: tales of exploration, adventure and excitement”. There is no minimum word count limitation but we’d prefer you stay under 15,000 words or so on the maximum side of things. While R-rated material is fine we’re not interested in extremely profane or explicit content so keep that in mind.
Everything else you need to know:
The $5 will be paid upon confirmation that your story has been accepted.
The $15 bonus will be paid to the 2 authors of our choosing no later than the publication of the anthology. The digital copy of the anthology will be sent upon completion and publication of anthology. We are seeking first printing rights as well as first electronic rights of your story so we can sell it in both print and electronic form as well as post it on the website if we so choose.
Once we publish your story in the anthology the rights are all yours again and you’re free to do whatever you wish with it. By submitting your story to us you are agreeing to give us these rights if we accept your submission. We strongly prefer original content but will consider reprints if you insist on submitting them. Please make it clear that it is a reprint if you send one in.
How to submit:
Stories should be sent to hallbrosentertainment@gmail.com . The submission deadline is July 18 so you’ve got about one month to get stories completed and sent in.
If your story is accepted you will receive: $5 dollars pay paid via paypal, 1 digital copy of the anthology, a detailed creator bio hosted on our website with links to your other work and/or personal site, and a direct invitation to submit to our next anthology.
In addition, each of the Hall Brothers will choose their favorite story of the entire anthology and those 2 writers will each be awarded a bonus paypal payment of $15 for their contribution
