£200 Prize For The Best Article Accepted in July
To celebrate the launch of our new author’s area, here at How To Books we’re holding a competition! The best article, as judged by our editors, submitted through our system during the month of July will be awarded a prize of £200! The article can be in any category and on any topic. As long as it’s a ‘how to’ article, and fits our normal writer’s guidelines, it’s in with a chance. So get writing now!
Before entering, make sure you read the terms and conditions below and brush up on our normal writer’s guidelines. Once you’ve familiarised yourself with these, sign in or register for an account by using the big ‘User Login’ box on the top-left and start putting together your article!

Terms & Conditions
1. Entrants must be over 18 years of age and have access to the internet.
2. Any accepted article submitted using the user submission system during the month of July (1st of July 2010 to midnight UK time 31st July 2010) is automatically entered into the competition.
3. Condition two (2) does not exclude multiple entries by any individual, although each entry must be unique.
4. Any articles submitted by employees, investors or other associates of How To Books and www.howto.co.uk will not be eligible for entry into the competition.
5. ‘Accepted article’ denotes any article submitted that is accepted for publication under the normal writing guidelines of www.howto.co.uk subject to condition four (4).
6. Copyright in all entries submitted will be retained by the writer unless and until transfer of copyright is subsequently agreed with How To Books Ltd.
7. The winner will be decided by the editors of www.howto.co.uk, whose names are available on request.
8. There can only be one winner who will be notified by e-mail.
9. Payment of the £200 prize will be arranged within one month of notification.
10.The winner of the competition will be announced on www.howto.co.uk and all other media channels available to www.howto.co.uk on Monday the 16th of August 2010.
