Screenplay Writing with Mahesh Dattani
Mahesh Dattani is a world renowned filmmaker, playwright, screen writer, and stage-director with several scripts and productions to his credit. As a writer, he has been awarded the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award. He has directed and scripted critically acclaimed films like Mango Souffle and Morning Raga (Archived by Academy of Motion Pictures, USA).

He is a practitioner and continues to be productive in both fields; as a writer and as a director. Soon after the termination of this course he would move into his next project.

He conducts this course in many parts of the world, most notably at Portland State University in Oregon, USA and more recently at Shanghai with Chinese, Swedish and English actors.

He brings to this course, along with classroom techniques, a realistic and practical approach that can benefit the participants in a more holistic way and prepare them for the real world of creativity on demand. Mahesh Dattani will personally conduct the course.
