The audience is welcome to pose any questions and/or participate in the dialogue. Moderated by Dr. Gwee Li Sui. Organized by BooksActually.

HENG SIOK TIAN
Heng Siok Tian's first volume of poetry, Crossing the Chopsticks, was published in 1993. Her second volume, My City, My Canvas, was publised in 1999. Contouring is her third collection of poetry. She holds a Master of Arts in Literature from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Science in Information Studies from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. In 2000, she attended the Iowa International Writing Program at the University of Iowa, USA.

POOJA NANSI
Pooja Nansi, born in Gujarat, India in 1981, brought up in Singapore, moves ably from the performer's stage to the literary page with her book of poems, Stiletto Scars. Several poems pay passing homage to the rituals and incense of tradition, family life and her sometimes ambivalent position placing herself upon that somewhat precarious generational ladder. Her poetry is also notable for how it grapples with forging an identity as a woman in such a rapidly changing South-East Asian Society.
