Join us at the 20th ADIBF from 2 – 7 March 2010!
Welcome to the homepage of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. Organised by KITAB, a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage and the Frankfurt Book Fair, the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair thrives on the distinctive pairing of established expertise and new ideas.
With over 800 exhibitors from more than 60 countries spread over four halls (19,000 sqm gross) of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the book fair has grown substantially since last year.
The Professional Programme at the ADIBF 2010 provides ample opportunity for publishers and other industry professionals to make the most of their time in Abu Dhabi, with a host of unique business opportunities including seminars and targeted matchmaking sessions, trade-oriented networking sessions and guided tours of the fair.
Meanwhile, with participants from more than 15 countries, the Cultural Programme boasts a line-up of authors and poets that features major international names as well as showcasing the best in home-grown talent. For a second year in a row, the book fair’s own guests are joined by the winners of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award and the six shortlisted nominees for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction, introducing audiences to a broad sample of some of the best and most celebrated faces in international and Arab literature today. A live cooking show and an Antiquarian Book Fair round out the fair’s cultural offerings.
