Organized by the Hong Kong Public Libraries of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the 8th Hong Kong Literature Festival is scheduled for 24 June - 11 July 2010. Three Pre-Festival Competitions are now launched to engage the general public for participation, namely the "Literature & Film" Short Video Competition and the "Feel the City's Pulse" Essay Writing Competition, both with Secondary School Students Division and the Adult Division; and the Literary Performance Competition for Primary School Students.
