Deadline: 20 July 2012

This is a general issue open to all high-quality essays that focus on Asian American Literature in a way that would be useful for our broad readership of both students and teachers. We are especially interested in essays that provide insights into the teaching of various kinds of Asian American literature and culture.

AALDP is an online journal accessible to all readers without any subscription fees or required membership in proprietary databases. However, we are indexed by proprietary databases in our discipline. We accept and even encourage full color images as long as the author gains permission to have these images displayed on the web. Authors retain copyright of their work through a Creative Commons licensing agreement.

For consideration in the 2013 volume, we would appreciate that you submit essays in MLA-style format and without your name on the document itself by July 20, 2012 so that we can begin the peer review process.
