Sinomedia USA is a group representing publishers of books (in English) about Chinese history, culture, global affairs, and current events including economics and international relations. We are recruiting for the following editorial and marketing positions to join our team:

Job title: Editor
Location: South San Francisco, CA
Terms: Contract (freelance OK)

Duties:

Project editor for titles on economics, international relations, and current events.
Must be an experienced copy editor (Chicago style) who can complete multiple editorial projects in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• MA degree preferred.
• Minimum 2-years’ book editing experience.
• Background in economics and international relations preferred.
• Must have knowledge of pinyin transliteration.
• Basic knowledge of and interest in China highly desired.
