Submit work
The Muslim Writers Awards welcomes submissions from Muslim writers across the country. We have a broad range of categories from screen play to novel writing to journalism. Our awards ceremony is an opportunity to showcase talent from both published and unpublished writers. We also work with a number of literary agents and publishers who are eager to read and review writing submitted to us.
Submissions for Muslim Writers Awards and the Young Muslim Writers Awards have now closed.
We will once again begin accepting submissions on the following dates:
Young Muslim Writers (under the age of 18) in December 2010.
The Muslim Writers Awards (for adults) in July 2011.
In the mean time you can still prepare your entry and ensure it meets the conditions of entry. Full detail on how to enter online will be posted closer to the time.
Conditions of Entry
All entrants must be Muslim, and work should be submitted in the English Language.
Submissions do not need to be centred on topics of Islam or Muslim identity, however this is equally welcome. Unless entering for the Published categories, submissions must not have been previously published.
