Senior Executive (Writer/Editor)
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Research, write, rewrite and edit a variety of materials of document development including and not limited to newsletters, emails, internal and external communications, course materials, fliers for a wide range of uses, proposals, company reports, speeches, capability statements, presentations, qualifications, white papers and other assignment
* Ensure and make the text of corporate documentation, articles, magazine features and communication messages error free
* Edit for mistakes in spelling, punctuation and grammar. Check a manuscript for form, length and completeness. Edit and proofread documentation for style, clarity, consistency and adherence to company guidelines
* Collaborate with Department Heads and/or information sources, external agencies to gain an understanding of the product or business areas, analyze requirements of project to determine types of publications needed, ensure accuracy and completeness of materials
* Provide guidance and training to lower level personnel and provide support and assist with other functions and projects as requested
* Act as a fact checker and must be familiar with the reference works and information sources of the trade.
Requirements:
* Degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communications, Business Studies, Economics, Marketing, Advertising, TESL or other related fields with 5 years relevant working experience as a researcher/writer/editor
* Highly articulate with excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal, with strong creative/strategic and analytical thinking abilities
* Have pleasant, mature, service-oriented personality, with excellent soft skill to work across many divisions in managing various projects
* Has an eye of detail, able to multi-task, dynamic, independent and motivated with strong interpersonal skills
