Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced EDITOR, ASIA PETROCHEMICAL to join our team based in Singapore. This position will cover daily and weekly petrochemicals markets, producing various series of price assessments, market analysis and written commentaries of the Asian petrochemicals markets.

Main responsibilities:

* Assess the value of benchmark prices fully in line with Platts rigorous and published methodology.
* Report news stories affecting structural market changes which affect price assessments.
* Maintain a high quality, timely and real-time stream of news and pricing feed.
* Work closely with news desk, managers and others to identify news stories about issues affecting market prices.
* At least 3 years' experience in news reporting.
* A strong command of English and fluency in another Asian language.
* Knowledge in petrochemicals, oil/energy, metals is a plus.
* Meticulous with a high level of attention to detail.
* Self-starter with an inquisitive mind with a keen desire to excel.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Able to work independently under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
