The Beijing International Book Fair is now considered by many as one of the top four International Book Fairs in the World. It's growth and stature is growing quickly and steadily with many first time U.S. and U.K. publishers in attendance. According the BIBF. The Chinese market is growing at a staggering rate with English language titles at the forefront. It is mandated by the government that all Chinese children learn English at an early age. Due to this, ACS's children's educational publishers were extremely busy throughout the fair. The STM and academic areas were also very popular as China's economy continues to grow. Sports, sports medicine, and military history were also areas that proved to be in demand. In 2008, the BIBF moved it's location to Tianjin due to the Olympics.

Publishers, agents, packagers and wholesalers/distributors can choose a display option that best fits their needs from a single title displayed to a large dedicated space devoted soley for them.
