Celebrate the release of Halo by Alexandra Adornetto and enter The Star-cross’d Love: Halo Writing Contest.

Write a love story, love poem or creative piece about star-cross’d love and have a chance to win a $500 cash prize, a 12 month subscription to Girlfriend magazine & have an excerpt of your story published in Girlfriend!

To enter simply upload your entry and vote on other entries! The top ten entries as voted by you go through to the finals. The finalists will then be judged by the HarperCollins Children’s Publishing Team and a winner will be announced on the 15th September, 2010.

Prize Eligibility
Only persons residing in Australia who are between 13 and 21 years of age can enter.

HOW TO ENTER

Complete the entry form by providing all of the requested information and required materials for entry into the Contest. Entry will not be complete until Entrant has followed the onscreen prompts to submit his or her entry (“Submission”). Submissions must be related to the star-cross’d lovers topic described on the contest entry page. Submission may only be presented in the form of written text; no photos or illustrations will be accepted. All Submissions containing content that, in the Sponsors’ sole judgment, is offensive, obscene, pornographic, off topic or inappropriate will be deemed ineligible for the Contest. When the form is complete, click the “Submit” button to receive one (1) entry into the Contest. Limit of five (5) submissions per user for the duration of the Entry Period. Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified.
