Description: A combination of two Persian words Nil (blue) and Ab (water), NILAB literally means "blue water." THE NILAB is the Turkic name for the Indus river and, we think, it effectively conveys the sense of cultural and literary mixing/syncretism we want to encourage by publishing the magazine.
