CURVALICIOUS Writing Contest
Accomplice Press is launching a line called Curvalicious. The Curvalicious line will be short novella length stories featuring plus size heroines. Curvalicious heroines are beautiful, strong, intelligent women who get the guy without losing weight or changing their bodies.
Curvalicious will have two categories. Curvalicious Sweet is romance with sweet or sensual love scenes, but no explicit language or sex. Curvalicious Spicy is erotic romance containing explicit language and sex scenes.

Crime Writing Competition
All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and resident in the UK.
Submit a short crime story between 2000 and 5000 words that starts with the following first line provided by Stuart MacBride: “In my experience, those who beg for mercy seldom deserve it.” All entries will be read by a HarperCollins Publishers Limited (“HarperCollins”) ‘reader’ who will shortlist 3 stories using the Criteria for public voting and judgment.
The Competitions will be open between noon on 25th January 2010 and noon on 16th May 2010.
