Description: Multicultural Literature Advocacy Group (MLAG), through our Living In Color Literary Awards, strives to support literacy and bring recognition to authors of books written by and about people of color, depicting contemporary life in the United States of America. We honor and promote these authors by rewarding the literary excellence of their work. Authors currently residing in the United States of America who are of African, Asian, Asian-Pacific, Hispanic, Native American, or Middle-Eastern descent are eligible for the award.
