The purpose of this position is to create a faculty and staff handbook from existing university policies. Additionally, it is to create a unified web presence of HR content on our Intranet. Currently, content is placed in a variety of areas and formats. Additionally, the purpose of this position will be to draft new web content as needed and in support of the unit mission.
JOB LOCATION: Abu Dhabi (Note: The University may periodically assign the employee to serve at any office or branch or to travel abroad on University business)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EXPERIENCE: Three years or more years writing experience, preferably previous experience drafting technical HR communication products.

- Create faculty and staff handbooks based on existing university policies that have high readability and professional design/layout.
- Identify and organize HR content on various internal websites and create a consolidated web presence that is easy to navigate by the user.
- Draft new thematic web content based upon university policy, benefits, and procedures that aids employees in more easily accessing the benefits and services offered via Human Resources.
- Creation of materials that will be used in the marketing of Khalifa University as an employer at job fairs and directly with prospective candidates.

- Coordinate with HR, External Relations, and internal stakeholders in developing communication products.
- Benefit and other vendors in order to understand complete benefit offerings that will be described in communication materials
- Ability to meet strict deadlines

- Self-motivated
