Pakistan Post International Letter Writing Competition for Young Peoples

Pakistan Post, in a joint move with the Universal Postal Union, is holding its 42nd Letter Writing Competition for Young Peoples. The theme of the competition this year is "Why is Water Precious?"

A prize money of Rs.35,000 will be awarded to the top three placers. The best letter will be sent to the Universal Posttal Union, where a jury set up by UNESCO will select the over-all international winners who will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals as well as albums of the UPU official postage stamps.

Students under 16 years of age can participate in the competition by sending a letter in English or Urdu duly certified by the Head of their educational institution.

The following information should be provided and authenticated by the Head: (a) full name, (b) father's name, (c) age, (d) class, and (e) name of institution with complete address and telephone number. The letter should be from 500 to 800 words.
