Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, the leading luxury fashion title in the Middle East, is looking for a senior journalist to join the editorial team. The Lifestyle Editor will have ultimate responsibility for the lifestyle section of the magazine, which includes styling, writing and compiling news, personal style stories, beauty, interiors features, and diary/social event pages, across the magazine and all associated supplements. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of journalism experience, including at least two years of international experience in a section editor/senior writer role on a national UK, US or Australian title. Impeccable writing skills, styling experience, an in-depth knowledge of the fashion and beauty industries, and an ability to work to short deadlines while turning your hand to different areas of editorial at a moment’s notice are essential.
Out-of-hours work is integral to the role.
