WRITER AND CURATOR - INTERNET:
Our Writer & Curator - Internet ensures that our digital platforms - web, mobile, tablet and social - are full of appealing curated content sourced from the internet and in line with the brand’s positioning. Your responsibilities include: generating Ideas for commentaries and traveller relevant topics, research and discovery of fresh and new content which can be curated for our audience; editing and quality checking; managing contributing sources.
You need to have the right sensibilities and the skills to succeed in new age and kind of creativity and entrepreneurialism. You need to be ready to learn to frame and create content in innovative ways, be playful and ready to bring some fun to the game. Your ability to make lateral connections across topics is important. We look for "keyboard presence": a good digital writer is a natural in front of the screen. And then there's speed. Our Digital hires ought to be able to move quickly from task to task, on their screens and in their heads. But not at the expense of accuracy.

- Research, compile, comment and curate existing travel topics.
- Write travel clips addressing traveller needs and insights.
- be the driving force of the section for shortcuts, tips and tricks for a better travel.
- understand the travel community’s behavior and be able to react to travel trends and challenges.
- generate and develop new ideas for the output.
- be responsible for meeting usage targets and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure consistency and organized delivery of content.
- Ensure evaluation of content and shared learning, as well as ensuring regular communication to Editor Digital during implementation.
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE A PLUS:
- In-depth knowledge of the travel space, in particular of social networking and user-generated content sites, and the emerging content and audiences in this area.
- To have a strong understanding of travel needs and expectations in this area.
- 3 - 4 years (travel) experience
- Conscientious, detail-oriented, and efficient
- impeccable understanding of grammar and good writing
- Strong copy editing and research/fact checking
- Fast, accurate and the ability to prioritize
- Experience in very fast-paced digital environment
- Proficient in MS Word, MAC/PC platforms
- Knowledge of InCopy / InDesgin a plus
- Experience with HTML and content management systems plus
- Preferred–familiarity with men’s fashion, technology, society and culture
