Via: Hueiyen News Service: In an effort to impart training to budding science writers to enhance coverage in various forms of media, Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) would be organizing a 4-day long Training Workshop on Science Writing/ Journalism for Bishnupur district at Ibudhou Oknarel Complex, Ningthoukhong from November 5-8.

The activities of the workshop would include lectures by resource persons, interaction, practical on script development and presentation, etc.

Interested science teachers in schools and college, graduate students in journalism, engineering, medical, veterinary, agriculture, and science journalists who are either working or residing in the district can attend the workshop.

Application in plain paper (forwarded by the Head of departments, if he/she is employed) along with bio data should reach the office of MASTEC on or before October 26.

Travel expenses by bus will be reimbursed for the participants on the last day of the workshop.
