The National, owned by Abu Dhabi Media, is an English-language daily newspaper, launched in 2008. The National brings unrivalled coverage of news, business, politics, finance, sport and the arts from the Middle East and around the world.

We are seeking a reporter to replace Daniel Bardsley as The National’s Asia Correspondent. The ideal candidate will have experience as a reporter in Asia. The correspondent, to be based in an Asian city to be determined, also must have experience writing spot news, business stories and features. He or she must monitor topics of general interest to readers of The National as well as business developments, and file to both the foreign desk and the business desk.
