Writing Competition: Wonderful Sceneries in Cagayan Valley (P5,000 top prize | Philippines)

Join the competition in best article writing on cvcom with the theme "Wonderful Sceneries in Cagayan Valley". Wherever you are in the Philippines, you are welcome to join as long as you are a resident of Cagayan Valley.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

• Participants must be a resident of Cagayan Valley "Cagayan, Isabela, Batanes, Quirino, Nueva Viscaya"
• Article must be talks about any place within Cagayan Valley
• It should be minimum of 1000 and a maximum of 1200 words.
• Pictures to be uploaded should be real or existing place in Cagayan Valley
• No Duplicate contents, No paraphrasing or even copying of published article on the internet. The wordings will be strictly reviewed and observed.
• One participant for one article entry only.
• Final Judging will be on 31st of October.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE:

• Sign up to cagayanvalley.com and fill up the form, but if you are already a member of cvcom just log in using your e-mail and password.
• Click News/Blogs button on the menu pages.
• Click Add
• Write your article title which start with Entry: Ex. "Entry: Amazing Callao Caves"
• and then write your article entry.
• If your done, then you have to publish your post.

Note: Staff of cvcom will be approved your published post once they have seen on the approval blogs. Just wait until further notice,once your article approved,you may start voting or promote the article.

HOW TO VOTE:

• Sign up to cagayanvalley.com and fill up the form, but if you are already a member of cvcom just log in using your e-mail and password.
• Search for your favorite article.
• Open the article and click promote.

BOARD OF JUDGES: Judging will be conducted by the selected staff of cagayanvalley.com

CRITERIA FOR THE BEST ARTICLE:

• Well written and topic is highly relevant to cvcom - its prose is engaging, even brilliant, and of a professional standard: 40%
• Good fit of images: 10%
• Uniqueness and creativity: 10%
• Social Media Audience or number of promotions on article (Facebook likes are not counted): 40%

THE WINNERS WILL RECEIVE:

• 1st prize: P5,000
• 2nd prize: P2,000
• 3rd prize: P1,000
