In collaboration with the “Be the Change” National Day of Service Event, inspired by the life of Mahatma Gandhi. The Network of Indian Professionals’ (NetIP) Austin Chapter is sponsoring a creative writing contest.
Entries may include any of the following forms: essays, poems, stories, and other forms of creative writing to address the following question: If you could work with Mahatma Gandhi to solve one current world problem, what would you do together?
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS: All pre-college students in Austin, Round Rock, and the surrounding areas are invited to enter. Prizes will be awarded, including Apple iPads and Nexus 7 tablets!

- NetIp will award a first and second place winner in each category, for a total of six (6) winners.
- Submissions will be judged on creativity and content.
- The judgment decisions are the sole responsibility and prerogative of the NetIP Award Committee.
- Awards will be presented at the Capitol Steps on Thursday, September 27
- Winners will be notified in advance via email or phone
