- Male or Female
- To be based in Manila (Petron Mega Plaza, Makati City)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- University degree, preferably social or political science, history, law or literature; masters degree a plus
- English as mother tongue or at least schooled in English prior to university
- Proven English-language writing skills; previous experience in journalism/report-writing/translation desirable
- Knowledge of French (for reading) highly sought after; Spanish (for reading) an asset
- Computer-literate: keyboard skills, good knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel features (templates, styles, etc.), Internet and revision tools etc.
- Knowledge of the International Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement an asset
- Enjoys writing, research and attention to detail
- Able to work well under pressure and to adapt to changing priorities
- Able to see the big picture then summarize large amounts of information
- Capable of managing several projects at once and meeting tight deadlines
- Can work independently but also a good team player
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Dynamic and with a solid sense of responsibility
- Interest in international affairs and humanitarian issues
