An Urdu essay competition named “In The Light of Past to The Future: Pakistan-Turkey Relations" has been launched by the Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, Urdu Language and Literature Department with the cooperation of International Education Consultancy Company and the literary Urdu journal, Irtibaat. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners of the competition.

- Graduation from any Urdu department of Turkey universities
- Essays must be written by Ms Word or Inpage Urdu program
- Essays must be at least 4 pages and maximum 10 pages
