Ravinder Singh's own story of love moved an entire nation and now Ravin is asking you to share your love story. The best stories will be published by Penguin Books India. It's a contest and your chance to get published with Penguin. The book will be a collection of short love stories. Bestselling author Ravinder Singh will be the part of selecting team and the editor for the winning entries before they are published.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Love Stories that Touched my Heart’-contest starts at 10 a.m. on 3rd August and runs till 12 midnight on 31st August 2012 (“Contest Period”).

The contest is valid for the residents of India and Indian Subcontinent only. You have to be 18 years old or over at the time of entry.

Your entry should be written in English and should be between 1500-3000 words and in ms word format only (.doc or .docx). Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified. Multiple entries are not allowed. One entry per person.

Entries once selected cannot be withdrawn.

We take no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Sending an email is not proof that we have received your entry . Also, entries sent in any mode except for the modes specifically provided for, shall be deemed to be invalid/ not received.

Rights of publication of the anthology in all formats- physical, digital, excerpts will be held by Penguin Books India.

Your entry should be original and written by you. It should not have been previously published in any format, website or publication

If your entry is selected to be published in the collection, we will notify you by post and email. Ravinder Singh’s and the Penguin editor’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. All information detailing how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.

Penguin Books India accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by You as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize.

Employees of Penguin Books India, Pearson and its subsidiaries and affiliates, sponsors, agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

You will be required to give your contact details, Mailing address, age and any other details deemed necessary and relevant upon joining the contest

Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

Your entry will not be returned to you.

The terms and the conditions for the launch of the book will be separately shared

Any copyright dispute that may be existing / arise in respect of an entry (selected or not selected) shall be the responsibility of the participant. “Penguin Books India” shall in no manner be responsible for any legal/other dispute that may be existing/may exist in future in respect of the entries.
