All-India Essay Competition for Students: The Importance of Self Employment

The future of the country lies in the hands of students and youngsters.

During the present day employment scenario, the students are quite confused as to whether they should opt for an employment in any organization or run an organization on their own providing employment opportunities for others.

The main purpose of the essay competition is to bring an awareness amongst the students about the importance of self employment apart from providing an opportunity to improve their writing skills.

• Topic: What are the advantages of self employment and why I do prefer self employment?
• Who can participate? Students all over India can participate in the competition. The length of the essay should be more than 500 words; however, should not be more than 1000 words.
• The essay should be neatly typed in English - MS word – Verdana – Font size: 12.
• The essay should be original and not copied from any other sources including books and internet. Essays which are found to be copied from any other sources will be summarily rejected.
• The author should submit the following details along with the article: Name of the student; Name of the school/college; Address; age and email id.
• A declaration should be submitted to the effect that the article is original and not published in any other magazine or publication.
• The essay should be sent by way of attachment.

No correspondence will be entertained in this connection and the winners will be intimated individually within fifteen days from the last date. Five of the best essays will be selected for award.
