Aspiring teen writers will learn about the elements that make good writing, and how to apply these in their own stories.
Experienced writer and writing professor Sandra Nicole Roldan will be the returning facilitator for this workshop. Sandra graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Studies from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 1998. In 2010, she earned her Masters degree in Creative Writing from the same university.
Now, she is an assistant professor at UP Diliman’s College of Arts and Letters, and is a member of the university’s Department of English and Comparative Literature. She previously worked for the Ateneo de Manila University’s English Department. Aside from teaching, Sandra also works as a freelance writer and writing trainer.
The workshop fee is P3,000 inclusive of handouts, materials, snacks and a certificate. A non-refundable down payment of P1,000 is required to reserve a slot. The deadline for reservations is July 14, 2012. Register before the deadline and receive a 5-percent discount.
