StepUP Pakistan- an initiative by Ali Moeen Nawazish, intends to increase the general awareness among the youth and encourages healthy activities to help them achieve their dreams! It's time to get those creative juices flowing with StepUP Pakistan’s Creative Writing Competition- 2012.

StepUP Pakistan’s Publications Department brings you an opportunity to win 100 USD on the basis of your Writing abilities. Here is what you have to do:

• Look at the topic provided below. Qalam Uthao and let your creativity flow!

• Along with your article, give the following details:
  • Full Name
  • City
  • Contact Number
  • Address
  • A link to your Facebook profile
  • A brief introduction about yourself

• Send your entries to publications@stepuppakistan.com

The winner will get 100USD as a prize. The top ten contestants will get a special StepUP Pakistan shirt.

Topic: "If I were the President of Pakistan...”

JUDGING CRITERIA:
  • The winner would be chosen by combining the votes and the judge’s marks.
  • 70% weight-age is given to votes and 30% to the judges.

Getting votes for your article or voting for an article written by someone else is really easy.Your articles will be published on Qalam (http://blog.stepuppakistan.com/) and at the end of the article a poll will be added to each article for the viewers/readers to vote. All you need to do is to select a YES or NO option from the poll that will be placed at bottom end of the article. Maximum number of votes in yes along with a combination of marks from the Judges will decide the winner.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
  • Anyone can take part in this competition.
  • It is recommended that you follow the theme as any irrelevant detail will lead to deduction in marks.
  • Any sort of abuse directed towards other contestants or the jury will lead to disqualification.
  • The length of the essay should be between 300-1200 words.
  • Any wrong means of getting votes will be detected by our system and will lead to disqualification of the contestant.
  • One person, one entry!

Voting details will be mailed to the contestants who submit their articles.
