Canadian Hindu Link Magazine Essay Contest

Canadian Hindu Link quarterly magazine is running an essay contest open to young people aged 13-19 focuses on the Hindu concept of Dharma. Young writers are being asked to discuss what customs and traditions pertaining to Dharma they most like and dislike, and why they feel the way they do.

Essays must be no longer than 850 words, and must include the author's name, date of birth and telephone number. Entries must be submitted electronically to aainderlekh@gmail.com no later than Sept. 30.

Prizes:
  • First prize is an Acer Aspire-One netbook computer valued at $300
  • Second prize is an XBox 4GB console valued at $225
  • Third prize is an iPod 4GB valued at $100

All entrants will receive a gift. The winners’ names will be published in the Diwali issue of Canadian Hindu Link magazine.

Canadian Hindu Link is a not-for-profit community magazine founded in 2009 to educate Hindu children who were born and raised in Canada about their cultural and spiritual heritage.
