SWW holds a workshop on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, and a poetry/lyrics workshop on the 4th Sunday. We are reserved for 12 people; and the absolute maximum is 15. If you are late, we can't guarantee you a spot.
Attendees are expected to read all the submissions uploaded before the deadline. If something is added later, you are not responsible for it. These submission should twice or more. Please allow ample time to read them. You may need an hour or more to properly read the submissions.
Location: Cafe Ohana, Gyungnidan. Closest subway, Noksapyeong (line 6, next station from Itaewon)
Time: 1:45pm-5pm
Submission deadline: Thursday, April 26th, 3pm
Submission guidelines: prose - short fiction, novel excerpts, creative non-fiction - poetry or screenwriting up to 3500 words in length.
We generally do not accept blog posts, journalism, homework, or translation/proofreading work for regular workshop critiquing (contact a coordinator for special requests). Formats: Word .doc, .txt, .rtf, .pdf. Please do not paste the text into the comment box; all submissions should be attached as a file. We ask that submitters take a few moments to read through their work before uploading the piece and fix basic mistakes and file readability. Pieces written for National Novel Writing Month generally need a re-write before they are appropriate for critique.
To register for the workshop, please visit the Facebook event page and the SWW forum.
