Inviting writers and dreamers to pen down their real life anecdotes, experiences, and imaginations, fictional ideas into a Short Story of maximum 3000 words in English or Hindi with a Twist in the story and send it to us! Do not forget to incorporate the “Twist in the Tale” which is mandatory.

ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Anybody, of any nationality, and of age 5 and above is eligible.
  • You need to register yourself on www.tumbhi.com for submitting your entries.
  • Compose a short story of maximum 3000 words. (There is no minimum word limit)
  • Choose any genre viz. fictional, non-fictional, thriller, comic, city life, historic etc. There is no restriction on any particular theme/subject/category.
  • Twist-in-the-tale: The story must have a twist or surprise element in it. This means the reader’s assumptions about the flow of the story or characters should change with the sudden turn of events.
  • Entries should only be in English or Hindi language.
  • All entries must be double spaced, with numbered pages in MS Word or Adobe PDF formats. All other formats will be disqualified.
  • Depiction of excessive violence, sex or religious extremism in your stories, as perceived by the judges, will result in disqualification.
  • Multiple entries are allowed.
