Filipino Women's Association Essay Writing Competition (for Filipinos in UK)

The Education and Personal Development Committee of the Filipino Women’s Association in UK invites everyone to participate in an essay writing competition. This competition is open to all Filipino 17 years old and above and must be a resident in the UK.

The essay should have either of the following topic: ’Education as a Transformative Factor in Society’ or ‘The Effect of Education on my Life’.

All entries should be written in English and sent electronically as a Word document in an A4 doubled spaced font 12 document with word count not exceeding 5000 words to sebastiane@woldingham.surrey.sch.uk by the 31st of March 2012.

Winners will be notified at the end of May 2012 and will present the award at the Philippine National Day Dinner and Dance on the 9th of June 2012.
