KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible to cover the press release for our Clients and to produce such copy that is persuasive and attention grabbing, used primarily to meet the Client needs.
- Write all copy to support communication activities.
- To do all editing work for ADV department.
- Submit material for publication in the required and expected format.
- Collate and analyze media coverage.
- To be able to prepare to rewrite and revise work (often several times) following feedback.
- Find, pursue and maintain knowledge of communications and publication opportunities.
- Research and verify the factual content of written work.
- Work to tight deadlines.

SKILLS

- Graduate from reputable University.
- 3-5 years experience in Qatar.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Computer literate.
- Driving licensed.
- Currently residing in Qatar.

COMPANY PROFILE

Al-Arab newspaper, the first political daily newspaper appeared in Qatar, was established in 1972, issued by Dar Al-Oruba for press, printing, publishing and distributing services. It was founded by Mr. Abdullah Hussain Ni’ma, dean of Qatari press, who occupied the position of Chief Editor in Charge.

In the early beginning of its establishment, Al-Arab newspaper was composed of 6 pages, sold for 50 Dirham's, and had reporters in Cairo, Amman, and Algeria, Al-Arab continued its issuing till the 2nd of January 1996. It was re-issued in November 2007, and now it reach composed of 72 pages with reporters in most of the countries.

Al-Arab is interactive Newspaper seeking to take the advantage of the opportunities provided by the new technology. Attracts a group of local opinion leaders, and make every effort to install the local market share among the other newspapers.
