You

Possessing an excellent command of the English language, you write skillfully, and you’re able to spot and correct mistakes and inaccuracies easily. Passionate about education and careers, you look to the pen (or keyboard!) to give advice and information to help university students and graduates. Confident and comfortable with various media (paper and web), you’re committed to high standards of quality and you ensure that everything that passes through your hands (and eyes for checking) is both a work of art and a useful resource. With some years of experience in journalism or publishing, you’re ready for more responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

You will be involved in researching, interviewing, writing, assigning, and editing articles for print and web; preparing editorial guidelines and coaching writers; checking design and production; proofreading publications; planning new publications; and leading project teams. You will also be involved in organizing events and conducting energetic workshops and giving career-related talks to university students.

Requirements:

* A first and second degree in English, Communication, Business
* At least 5 years experience in professional writing, editing, or publishing
* An excellent grasp of the English language. You must be able to write and edit quickly to meet deadlines without compromising quality
* The ability to guide and coach other writers is necessary
* Creative, resourceful, and able to work independently, yet also…
* A team player who can work well with your own team members as well as with members of other teams
* The ability to write for the web and a good understanding of social media
* An eye for good design is another advantage
* Willing to travel for interviews and events when necessary.
