SENIOR REPORTER - SHANGHAI
Job Summary:
Lloyd’s List seeks a talented journalist who can identify risk and opportunities in China’s booming shipping market while analysing the complex web of economic, financial and legal issues that underpin the business of maritime trade in China.
The successful candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and with strong English writing skills. They will be required to write off-diary news and analysis under constant deadline pressure while developing quality contacts and will always ask the right people the right questions at the right time.
They will be able to analyse complex reports, understand the global implications of local developments and turn this knowledge into market leading news stories.
We are looking for someone who is analytical, quick thinking, brimming with intellectual curiosity, accurate and highly numerate. Expert interviewing skills are essential.
Candidates will also be expected to contribute to longer features and attend industry events, press conferences as required.
