NEH Magazine's Summer Short Fiction Contest (Korea)
Deadline: 1 August 2011

Starting July 1st, NEH Magazine is inviting writers - both amateur and professional - to submit works of short fiction for its first annual Summer Short Fiction contest.

Writers are encouraged to submit short works from any genre of fiction to the contest by August 1st 2011 - the winners of will be published as a lead feature in NEH's August/September issue.

Winning pieces will be decided by a panel of judges.

The winning pieces (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will be announced on the NEH Magazine Facebook page during the week of August 1st.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

★ Submissions must be a minimum of 1,500 words and a maximum of 2,500 words.
★ Submissions must be original works and must not have been published either online or in any other form of print.
★ Submissions must be in English.
★ The author's name and date the work was written must also accompany the work.
★ Authors must have a residence in South Korea.
★ Contributors to NEH Magazine are not permitted to submit their work for consideration.
★ Works must be submitted by 5pm on August 1st, 2011.

HOW TO SUBMIT

To submit your short fiction to the contest, please send a copy of the work in WORD (*.doc) format to editor@nehmagazine.com.

Works submitted that are not saved as a Word document will not be considered.
